Welcome to my sow herd dispersal sale. I am liquidating my entire sow herd.  I have spent the last 25 years trying to make a productive, high quality sow herd.  These sows should be excellent additions to or outstanding start to anyone's operation.  All sows were raised on total slats and are gestated in crates on total slats so structural correctness is a must.  Some of the sows are open and a few are due close to sale date so will farrowed here and sold as open.  Any sow can be bred to one of our herd sires for an additional $250, and will be kept here until it is certain that she is bred.  If there are any questions about the sale offering, you may contact me at 816-914-4914 cell or 816-633-4343 or you may email me at carlvstein@gmail.com.  Thank you for your consideration.  Carl Stein

SALE INFORMATION
Bidding for the bred sow sale will begin Thursday, June 18 and will close at 12PM CST on June 23.  All sows will have a base price and bids must be raised by a minimum of $50 increments.  At the end of each day we will update the bids on each sow.  Once bidding closes on Tuesday, June 23 at noon, all high and contending bidders will be contacted by phone to have the opportunity to raise their bid on the sow in contention or bid on any other sow in the offering with a lower sale price.  We will contact bidders in order from highest sale price sow to lowest sale price sow.  The sale will be completed as soon as possible, so it is necessary to have a contact number where the prospective buyer can be reached.

GUARANTEE
All bred sows are guaranteed to have a litter of 8 pigs.  The bred sow will be at 60% of the purchase price and the litter at 40% of purchase price.  Example-You buy a bred sow for $1000 and she only has 6 pigs.  The sow is worth $600 with the litter worth $400.  That  makes each pig worth $50 ($400(litter price)/8(# of pig guarantee)=$50).  Since the sow only had 6 pigs, you will be credited $100.
